Ukraine continues to defend itself heroically against the horrific full-scale invasion launched by Putin’s morally bankrupt Russia in February 2022, as the aggressor commits fresh war crimes with every passing week.
I have worked on a number of translation and editing projects for an agency called Kyiv Language Services in the last few years - these have included the editing of translations related to the Mavka film franchise and The Witch of Konotop, along with other tasks for the Film.UA group. I have also been teaching English to a few of the Ukrainians who came to the UK under the ‘Homes for Ukraine’ scheme, after they were forced to flee their homes and their homeland.
I would be happy to collaborate with other Ukrainian translation agencies (or individuals) requiring translations from Russian into English, or editing and proofreading tasks.
I am currently learning Ukrainian.
